тоже по поводу победителя. в начале думал, что будет стори и списал слитую динамику на желание автора получше изложить сюжет (даже не альт), но когда ближе к середине клипа начался кетайский рандом, а динамика так и осталась хромать на обе ноги, стало очень пичально, ведь есть куча крутых динамичных моментов из тех же ОПов.

старый клип с орга на эту же песню зацепил больше. Но у DN@ уже отработанная схема, которая всегда работает: популярный, добротный исходник + хорошая альтернативка + куча масок и маскопереходов + прямые руки = win。 (W.U.N. и Hit the floor уже доказали, что это работает)

А так получился отличный конкурс. Работ 10 можно смело качать в фул и оставлять на харде.
Creed и Aken, конечно, заслуживают места повыше

Да нормальная работа, как для энпы (ну похуже Traumerei и From the Ashes), но явно не виннер же. Хотя JE никогда адекватностью и не славилось, что тут удивляться.

Honestly what music video could be 1st instead of L.I.B ? Watch the 25 videos and tell me. Lot of people compare Dn@ vid with Traumerei which is good but a bit too long and sometimes boring for me (and have few technical weaknesses).
Creed and Dn@ made the 2 best videos of this contest imho. Aken was ok but very random, he's maybe good for using effects but that doesn't do an good clip.
I agree that nostro video is really weaker than usual.
I dislike the 2 M@D (not my taste at all and quiet boring) videos but it's the first time we got japanese contestants and I have a preference for the third AMV from the japanese editor alphaweapon - Japanese Standard - which is actually a ouclippo video.
About the Stickygaiden vid, I am very disappointed, he made really ugly effects and I don't get at all the objective of his clip with so many layers, weird AE stuff, etc...
I enjoyed Gurren Dawn which got an awesome music and good synchro despite it was a bit repetitive. It changes of the combo Gurren + symphonic rock music.

This edition of Japan Expo was not as good as last year but at least we don't recycle the Big Contest ranking (which was the case for the 2 last editions). we hope to get more foreigners for the next year but as you know it's not as easy. We can see it for other oreign contests. I am not sure there are so many foreigners in russian of american contests (excepted for the Akross which is an institution since a long time now ^^).

So yes I am a bit disappointed of this edition but the screening was fun anyway especially with the video Call of Bunny and Crossroads (the public really enjoyed them).

But for a first exclusive edition we got 120 videos and it's quiet positive for the next editions. Hope we will get more foreigners for next year. The new website should be operationnal at this time which will do the things easier and more practical fr everyone.
